Our team is primarily made up of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). PMHNPs are advanced practice nurses with specialized training in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology (medication management). At LBH, our PMHNPs take an integrated approach to care, combining medication management with therapy when appropriate. While our providers are able to offer therapy to the majority of our patients, there may be times when a specialized therapeutic modality is indicated. In those cases, we will coordinate a referral to a provider who is specifically trained in that treatment approach to ensure you receive the highest quality care tailored to your needs.
