We're CARF Accredited!

Lukas Behavioral Health is proud to announce that we have achieved accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

CARF accreditation is an internationally recognized mark of quality that demonstrates an organization's commitment to meeting rigorous standards for patient care, safety, organizational performance, and continuous improvement. Achieving accreditation involved a comprehensive review of our policies, procedures, clinical practices, and operations.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire team and our ongoing commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered behavioral healthcare. More importantly, accreditation is not simply a milestone—it represents our continued responsibility to evaluate our services, improve the care we provide, and maintain high standards throughout our organization.

We are proud of this accomplishment and grateful to our patients, staff, and community partners who have helped Lukas Behavioral Health continue to grow and improve.

Pursuing Maryland OMHC Licensure

Following successful CARF accreditation, Lukas Behavioral Health plans to pursue licensure as an Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) through the State of Maryland.

OMHC licensure will enable us to expand and strengthen the behavioral health services we provide while meeting additional state standards for quality, oversight, and patient care. This next step reflects our long-term commitment to increasing access to comprehensive, high-quality mental health services throughout our communities.
