We're Pursuing CARF Accreditation
At Lukas Behavioral Health, we believe that providing exceptional mental health care means continually improving the way we serve our patients. We are excited to announce that we are actively pursuing accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
CARF accreditation is a rigorous, internationally recognized process that evaluates healthcare organizations against high standards for quality, safety, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement. The process involves a comprehensive review of our policies, procedures, patient care practices, and organizational performance.
Although we have not yet achieved accreditation, our team is working diligently to meet and exceed CARF's standards. This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while continually enhancing the patient experience.
We look forward to sharing updates as we progress through the accreditation process and remain dedicated to providing the highest quality behavioral healthcare to the communities we serve.
Pursuing Maryland OMHC Licensure
Following successful CARF accreditation, Lukas Behavioral Health plans to pursue licensure as an Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) through the State of Maryland.
OMHC licensure will enable us to expand and strengthen the behavioral health services we provide while meeting additional state standards for quality, oversight, and patient care. This next step reflects our long-term commitment to increasing access to comprehensive, high-quality mental health services throughout our communities.
We look forward to sharing updates as we continue advancing these important milestones.
